The Sweet Embrace Stakes is a Group 3 race for two year old fillies, held each year at Randwick Racecourse in Sydney. This set weights event takes place during the autumn racing carnival, and is run over a distance of 1200 metres for a total of $125,000 in prize money.

Horses may come to the Sweet Embrace Stakes from the Group 2 Silver Slipper Stakes or Group 3 Kindergarten Stakes over 1100 metres. After racing in this event, horses may go on to the Group 2 Reisling Stakes and Group 2 Magic Night Stakes.
Some of the recent winners of the Sweet Embrace Stakes include Stripper in 2008, Headway in 2009, Crystal Lily in 2010, Shared Reflections in 2011, and Jade Marauder in 2012. Jade Marauder won the 2012 edition of this race ahead of Valerio in second place and Kyria in third. Among the most notable sprinters to win this event in earlier years include Dark Eclipse in 1980, Skating in 1992, and Ha Ha in 2001.
The Sweet Embrace Stakes began its life in 1979, originally as a Listed event. It became a Group 3 race in 1987, with Postage Due enjoying victory this year under the new status. This race is dedicated to Sweet Embrace, a famous Australian Thoroughbred racehorse who won the 1967 Golden Slipper among other events.
